High School Intensive: Playwriting: Crafting the Monologue, Scene and Play

A deep dive into the art of storytelling, this Playwriting 101 course is a rigorous exploration of the craft of crafting stories for the stage. From the basics of plot and structure to the nuances of character development and dialogue, students will gain an undersyanding of the fundamentals of playwriting and the tools needed to write their own plays. (Ages 14 – 18)

Note:  Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors should wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk.  Class size will be limited for social distancing.  We continue to show vigilance in cleaning and sanitizing our facilities.

Class Duration: Two Weeks,  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  The first day of class is Monday, July 10  and runs through Wednesday, July 19 from 5-7  pm
