Driven to Abstraction – Textured Watercolors Workshop

Join artist Michele Frantz for a versatile workshop perfect for developing projects large and small, including art journaling, illustration, and fine art.  Main ingredients include gesso and watercolor, layered with various objects and a wide array of other media to create patterns and textures.  The result can be as abstract or as realistic as you like.  Michele will demonstrate the sequence of steps and various techniques to achieve a wide variety of results in the layering process.  This is a great workshop for integration of many different art media, and will help students explore color theory and elements of design.  All supplies provided.  For ages 15 & up.

Note:  Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors should wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk.  Class size will be limited for social distancing.  We continue to show vigilance in cleaning and sanitizing our facilities.
