PPT Theatre Production Intensive (Non-Musical)

Musicals not your thing?  Want to perfect your skills without having to worry about singing and dancing?  Join us for this theatre production intensive where students are challenged to create and sustain a role without the pressure of auditioning.  This performance workshop provides an opportunity to take the stage while learning acting basics and valuable theatre skills.  Students will participate in all elements of the production from character development to creating props, makeup and costumes.  The production we are working on is Clue (High School Edition).  It’s a dark and stormy night, and you’ve been invited to a very unusual dinner party.  Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well…dead.  So whodunnit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up.  Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.  (Ages 8 – 18)

There will be two ticketed performances on November 4th and 5th.  Class members will receive two complimentary tickets.

Note:  Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors should wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk.  Class size will be limited for social distancing.  We continue to show vigilance in cleaning and sanitizing our facilities.
