Acting: Scene Study and Characterization

In the scene study class, actors will take specific scenes from movies, television or plays and apply exercises and technique to create believable characters and performances. Actors will work with the instructor to build on foundational skills and receive feedback to improve their craft.  The class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays  from 5-6:30 p.m. beginning Monday, November 7.  (There will be no class on Wednesday, November 23)  The class will conclude with a mini presentation of scenes and/or monologues for friends and family on Wednesday, December 7. (Ages 10-18)

Note:  Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors should wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk.
