ARTful Wellness – Senior Theatre Exploration Series

Story Time on the Rooftop:  Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 am

Come learn the techniques used by storytellers to bring classic and new children’s stories to life. We will learn to use our voices to create a vivid and engaging experience for children.

 Theatre Fundamentals: Mondays 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

The basics of theatre. We will watch scenes and analyze them, and then put that analysis into practice to work on some scenes as a class. Discover the basic techniques used by actors of every age, and some specific to mature adults.

Improv and Theatre Games for Mature Adults:  Wednesdays 12:00pm-1:00pm

Join us as we explore and stimulate our brains with improvisational games and theatre games. In an effort to stimulate the brain, we will work together to build a foundation in improvisation while playing theatre games as a group.
