Color & Value Workshop – Shades of Pale

Learn to distinguish color from value, and understand the interplay of lights and darks in defining forms in your paintings and drawings.  This workshop will be relevant for any medium of your choosing.  The subject matter may range from still life to winter landscapes.  Mood and composition will intersect to reveal the subtle and soothing tones of a pale palette.  Students may bring the medium of their choice.  If you have questions on supplies, email candace@virginiaaartfactory.org.  Enrollment limited.  For ages 15 & up.

Note:  Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors should wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk.
