Gentle yoga is perfect for all levels, from first time yoga practitioners to those with experience. Like other styles of yoga, gentle yoga helps to relieve stress, increase flexibility, calm the mind. This style strengthens the body by focusing on slow, steady movement. By adding in other mindfulness practices such as breath work and visualization, this style of yoga can have many benefits for physical and mental health and well being. If you have been intimidated by more athletic yoga styles or are looking for a way to unwind and de-stress, you may want to explore gentle yoga.
Please bring your own mat. If you have your own straps and blocks, bring those too!
On February 14, class participants are invited to bring a friend/partner along free to the class.
We have a limited amount of equipment available to rent per class:
- Mat rental $2
- Block and Strap Rental $2
- Rent all three for $3
Rentals may be purchased on the day of each class.
Note: Following the current CDC recommendation, students and instructors should wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk. Class size will be limited for social distancing. We continue to show vigilance in cleaning and sanitizing our facilities

Tuition: $168 (Register by January 3 for 10% tuition discount for non members and a 25% discount for members.) We offer a drop in rate as well at $15. (No early registration or membership discount available.)
