Tis the season: holiday hustle and bustle is about to begin. Give yourself the gift of stress relief this year! Gentle yoga is perfect for all levels, from first time yoga practitioners to those with experience. Like other styles of yoga, gentle yoga helps to relieve stress, increase flexibility, calm the mind. This style strengthens the body by focusing on slow, steady movement. By adding in other mindfulness practices such as breath work and visualization, this style of yoga can have many benefits for physical and mental health and well being. If you have been intimidated by more athletic yoga styles or are looking for a way to unwind and de-stress, you may want to explore gentle yoga.
Please bring your own mat. If you have your own straps and blocks, bring those too!
We have a limited amount of equipment available to rent per class:
Mat rental $2
Block and Strap Rental $2
Rent all three for $3
Rentals may be purchased on the day of each class.
Class will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning November 7 from 11 am-12 pm and will end on Thursday, December 21. There will be no class on Tuesday, November 21 and Thursday, November 23.
