Prime Time Players (55 and Up) Announces Auditions for Potato Gumbo

ARTfactory’s senior theatre is holding auditions for the the Prime Time Players play Potato Gumbo by Jean Ciampi!

Character List

Gretchen Nelson:  Older woman with a propensity to acquire things that don’t really belong to her.

Thomas Trahan:  An active older widower.

Barbara Winter:  Gretchen’s oldest adult daughter who is trying to balance the challenges of becoming a parent to her parents.

Jack Trahan:  Thomas’s easy going and supportive son.

Jim Cappazolli:  Older gentlemen with a cane, a slightly outrageous wardrobe and the recipe for an assortment of cocktails.

Gail Johnson:  A true lady and friend we all wish we had.

Donna/Don Holbrook:  Administrator at Casa Della Veccia.  A middle-aged person who can be rather two-faced, (and neither of which is very pretty).

Auditions:  Monday and Tuesday, May 20 and 21st at 7 pm. Callbacks if needed are Thursday, May 23.

Audition Format:  Readings from the script.  While sign up is not necessary, we will appreciate a heads up on how many are coming.

Audition, Rehearsal and Performance Location: Wind River Theater at the ARTfactory, 9491 Battle Street, Manassas, VA 20110

Performances:  Friday, July  12 at 7 pm and Saturday, July 13 at 2 and 7 pm and Sunday July 14 at 2 pm.
