ARTfactory’s Prime Time Players (55 and Up) announces Auditions for their production of Just a Stage He’s Going Through by Pat Cook.  Join us for a fun, creative experience in the theatre.

Prime Time Players is dedicated to providing a platform for older adults to continue to showcase their abilities in the theatre.  Our senior programming is an excellent way to meet new people, stay active and get creative.

For Just a Stage He’s Going Through we are seeking actors age 55 and up to bring our characters to life. The cast requirements are 4 men and 4 women.  Whether you’re an experienced performer or new to the stage, we encourage you to audition and join our dynamic group of performers.

Just a Stage He’s Going Through is the perplexing and intriguing tale of Dwight, an ordinary man who wakes up in the middle of the night, only to find himself on stage!  Dwight experiences a unique phenomenon where he is able to see the world as an actual stage while others around him cannot.  His wife, Blanche, fails to comprehend his distress and urges to him to go back to sleep or to work.  It is at this point that the play takes a wild turn, where Dwight’s finds himself entangled in a series of strange and unpredictable events.  As Dwight embarks on a quest to find he place in the world, he encounters a wide range of characters who seem to get wilder and wilder.

Audition Dates:  Wednesday, April 12 from 3 – 4:30 p.m.

Audition Location: Kellar Family Theatre at the ARTfactory, 9491 Battle Street, Manassas, VA 20110

Performances:  Saturday, June 3 at 10 am and Sunday, June 4 at 2 p.m.

Rehearsals:  Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday from 3 – 4:30 p.m.
