Rumba Dance Class

The Rumba, a beautiful Latin dance style, has roots in both Spanish and African dance culture.  The step is characterized by swaying hips, a still upper body, and close partner connections. Rumba is traditionally  danced to slow Latin music, but it is also common to dance the Rumba to current, popular ballads. Because of this, the Rumba is a popular style choice for a wedding dance and slow partner dancing.  Join us and learn why this dance is often called “the Dance of Love.”  Pre-registration is required, enrollment limited.  This class is sold as a double enrollment for a couple, or for two dance buddies.

Note: COVID vaccination is recommended except with a religious or medical exemption. Anyone who is not vaccinated must provide weekly proof of a negative COVID test. (PCR testing is required for this weekly proof.)  Everyone must wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status.
