David Amoroso shows his admiration for Latin culture through his artwork. “Entre Dos Mundos” examines Amoroso’s fascination with life and life after death through Dia de los Muertos.
Scott Eagle is an Associate Professor and serves as the Area Coordinator for the Painting and Drawing program at the School of Art and Design, at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. His paintings and illustrations have been exhibited and reproduced internationally.
“The Many Rooms” is a collection of mixed media pieces by DC artist Zsudayka Nzinga. Based on the scripture, “In my Father’s house there are many mansions/rooms” John 14, Nzinga observes experiences in her home and with family just prior to the pandemic through the new year.
Syrian born, Lukman Ahmad reflects the Kurdish experience as well as the human experience. Along with his vibrant paintings and expressive emotion, Ahmad also implements the color black in his works, combining the tragedy of death and hope together in his current collection.
